📚✨ Storybook Parade Fun! We ended our Red Ribbon Week with one of our favorite traditions — the Storybook Parade! Students proudly shared their favorite stories as they walked the parade route filled with smiles and excitement. 💙💛 Thank you to our families for cheering along the route and to our staff for helping make this special event possible. --------------------------------------- 📚✨ ¡Diversión en el Desfile de Libros! 🎉 Congratulations to Mr. Diaz and Coach Ortiz! 🎉 Today, both educators were honored with their Extra Yard for Teachers award presented by the Valero Alamo Bowl! 🏈🍎 Their dedication to Loma Park students shines every day through their hard work and passion for learning. We are so proud of you—thank you for going the extra yard for our Mustangs! 💙💛

Our littlest Mustangs did an amazing job practicing their bus evacuation drill today! 💛🚌 Pre-K students learned how to safely exit the bus in case of an emergency, and some classes even got to enjoy a short ride! 🚍✨ We’re so proud of our students for following directions, showing responsibility, and learning how to stay safe. 👏💫

Our Loma Park Mustangs made Mrs. Mendoza’s day extra special by surprising her with tons of colorful balloons throughout the day! 🎈💐 We’re so lucky to have such a dedicated and inspiring leader guiding our campus every day! 🌟

October is National Principals Month! 🎉 Today we’re celebrating Principal Mendoza from Loma Park Elementary!

Fun fact: Principal Mendoza is a huge fan of audiobooks! Whether driving to campus or winding down after a busy day, she loves listening to fictional stories and leadership books. 🎧📖

🎉 Pre-K Attendance Incentive! 🎉
From October 14–17, we’re celebrating students who show up every day!

🕺💃 Pre-K students with perfect attendance during this week will be invited to a Dance Party on Friday (10/17)!

🏆 The class with the highest attendance percentage will earn Free Dress the following week!

Join us Wednesday, October 8 at 6:45 AM as we walk and bike together from Monterrey Park to Loma Park Elementary!
Let’s roll into school while celebrating healthy habits, safety, and community spirit! 💚
We’ll have refreshments, giveaways, and free t-shirts for the first 15 students — plus plenty of fun along the way!
